Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of this booking site, located at seasiderealtybarbados.holidayfuture.com.
By accessing this website, submitting a rental request or completing a booking via this portal, you hereby aknowledge and accept the below terms and conditions as a "Guest".
1. DEPOSIT & PAYMENT SCHEDULE
A minimum deposit of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total rental amount is required to confirm a booking. This deposit is non-refundable.
Please note that until this deposit is paid, the booking remains UNCONFIRMED.
Winter bookings (arrivals between December 15 and April 14): The full balance is due no later than sixty (60) days prior to arrival.
Summer bookings (arrivals between April 15 and December 14): The full balance is due no later than thirty (30) days prior to arrival.
Where a reservation is made within sixty (60) days of arrival for a Winter booking or within thirty (30) days of arrival for a Summer booking, full payment is required at the time of booking.
2. METHODS OF PAYMENT
To facilitate the processing of credit card payments (Visa or Master Card), we send a secure payment link via email within 48-hours following the submission of your request / booking.
All card transactions are subject to a 3.65% processing fee and are processed in Barbadian Dollars (BBD).
This is the prefered method of payment and helps to facilitate the automatic refund of your damage deposit when the time comes.
Alternatively, payment may be made via wire transfer upon special request, where deemed suitable.
The Guest is responsible for any shortfall resulting from bank exchange rates or service charges.
3. CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION & VERIFICATION
When applicable, our team may request a signed credit card authorization form, together with:
A copy of a valid government-issued photo ID; and
A copy of the front of the credit card used for payment.
Seaside Realty Inc. reserves the right to send a representative to the property to verify the identity of the Guest upon or after arrival and have them physically sign the occupancy conditions.
If requested, the Guest must present the original photo ID and the credit card used for payment and sign the corresponding credit card receipt.
Failure to provide the required documentation or complete the requested verification process may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.
4. CANCELLATION POLICY
The initial twenty-five percent (25%) deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Cancellations made:
Within sixty (60) days of arrival for Winter bookings; or
Within thirty (30) days of arrival for Summer bookings
will result in forfeiture of the full rental amount.
Where a refund is applicable, it will be subject to deductions for foreign exchange losses, bank charges, and processing fees.
Travel and cancellation insurance is strongly recommended to provide coverage for unforeseen circumstances.
If, due to circumstances beyond our control, the confirmed accommodation becomes unavailable, Seaside Realty Inc. reserves the right to provide comparable alternative accommodation. If the alternative accommodation is not accepted, a full refund of monies paid will constitute full settlement and discharge of all liability.
5. OCCUPANCY CONDITIONS & LIABILITY
The Property Owner and Seaside Realty Inc. shall not be held liable for:
Personal injury or accidents occurring at the property;
Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings; or
Acts of third parties.
Guests assume full responsibility for their own safety and the safety of all occupants, including children, throughout the rental period.
6. LOSS OR DAMAGE
A refundable damage deposit, in the amount specified at the time of booking, will be held for the duration of the stay and is due with the rental balance.
Please note that processing of damage deposit refunds may take up to four (4) weeks after departure.
Seaside Realty Inc. reserves the right to deduct from the damage deposit:
The cost of repairing damage beyond normal wear and tear;
The replacement cost of missing items, based on local replacement value; and
The cost of additional cleaning or sanitation required beyond standard turnover.
A written summary of any deductions will be provided. The remaining balance of the damage deposit will be refunded following checkout and inspection of the property.
Should the cost of damage or other applicable charges exceed the amount of the held damage deposit, the Guest will be responsible for settling the remaining amount(s).
7. USE OF PROPERTY
The property may not be used for weddings, parties, events, or gatherings of any kind unless expressly approved in writing by Seaside Realty Inc. or the Property Owner.
Unauthorized events will result in immediate termination of occupancy without refund and may result in additional charges.
8. CONDITION OF PROPERTY & REPORTING OF ISSUES
Guests are required to report any concerns, maintenance issues, or complaints to Seaside Realty Inc. promptly during the rental period. This allows Management a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, where possible, address or remedy the issue.
Failure to notify Management during the rental period shall constitute acceptance of the condition of the property, and no refunds, compensation, or adjustments will be granted for concerns first reported after checkout.
Refunds or compensation will not be granted for circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Property Owner or Management, including but not limited to:
Temporary loss of power or water; Failure of internet, cable, appliances, or other utilities; Construction or maintenance activity at neighbouring properties; or Acts of government or public utility providers.
Management will use reasonable efforts to address issues reported in a timely manner but does not guarantee uninterrupted enjoyment of all services.
9. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: 3:00 PM
Check-out: 11:00 AM
Requests for early check-in or late check-out must be approved in advance and are subject to availability and possible additional fees.
10. SMOKING & PET POLICY
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. Evidence of smoking indoors may result in additional cleaning or remediation charges, which may be deducted from the damage deposit.
Pets or animals of any kind are not permitted on the property unless otherwise approved in writing prior to the booking.
11. SUPPLIES
A starter supply of toilet tissue, hand soap, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, and basic cleaning products is provided upon arrival.
Guests are responsible for replenishing these supplies as needed during their stay.
12. ELECTRICITY USAGE
Electricity usage is capped at USD $150 per month, pro-rated for shorter stays.
Any consumption exceeding this amount will be charged to the Guest and may be deducted from the damage deposit.
13. AGENCY DISCLOSURE
This booking is facilitated by Seaside Realty Inc. strictly as Agent for the Property Owner. The rental agreement is between the Property Owner and the Guest.
Seaside Realty Inc. assumes no liability for claims, damages, or legal disputes arising from the tenancy beyond its role as Agent.
14. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Barbados, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barbados in respect of any dispute arising hereunder.
15. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By completing an online booking with Seaside Realty Inc., the Guest acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Rental Terms & Conditions.
The Guest or individual making the booking warrants that they are at least eighteen (18) years of age and are authorized to make the booking on behalf of all occupants of the property.
By accepting these Terms & Conditions, the Guest confirms their acceptance of the terms applicable to the booking and agrees to ensure that all occupants of the property comply with them throughout the rental period.
